1. In order to meet the growing demand for quality higher education, the College has embarked on a major expansion plan to increase its capacity. The totality of the expansion and the costs involved may be seen in the attached presentation.

2. When completed by mid-2013, the College, among other aspects, will have modern class rooms, labs, tutorial rooms, additional common room facilities for the faculty and students, seminar rooms and other infrastructural facilities – all with modern electronic facilities for imparting high grade education in the present era.

3. Keeping in view the cost of construction as well as the facilities envisaged, the funds available right now are way below the actual requirement.

Therefore, in view of the shortage of funds, I appeal to all of you to donate to your Alma Mater to the extent you consider fit. Big or small – all contributions are welcome.

4. Contributions to the cause are eligible for 50% exemption under Sec 80G of the Income Tax Act. I am positive that you all will not disappoint and donate generously so that we get the buildings, that the No.1 College in India deserves – that makes every ELSA proud.

5. Donations may please be forwarded by crossed cheque in the name of ‘Principal Lady Shri Ram College for Women’. They shall be duly receipted and acknowledged.
